2008 NBA Playoffs - Day Three - April 21
Here at About.com, we'll be following each day of the 2008 NBA Playoffs - nothing too in-depth with these posts, but a bit of a recap that gives a couple of brief sentences or so, the final results, as well as links to the boxscore.

Utah Jazz 90, Houston Rockets 84 @ Houston / Box Score
This was a close game, at least close enough for the Rockets to think they actually had a chance to stop the bleeding in the series, but it wasn't to be. The Jazz beat Houston on the Rockets' home floor for the second straight game and will head back to Utah with a strong possiblity of sweeping the Rockets unless Tracy McGrady and company can somehow give it that extra oomph to push the Rockets to victory. However, not having Yao Ming's inside presence doesn't make it such a strong possibility for that to happen. It's going to be a tough road, Houston, but this is the NBA Playoffs where anything can happen. Jazz lead series 2-0.
Washington Wizards 86, Cleveland Cavaliers 116 @ Cleveland / Box Score
I think the Wizards' plan to body up LeBron James and foul him hard when he drove to the hole is backfiring on them, but hold on, let me think about it a little more... yeah, it's backfiring on them. James seems possessed and focused on making the Wizards pay for their audacity to try to stop him. Sure, it's the Wizards' job to do that, but I can't help but think that they're trying to do more, for example Brendan Haywood's blatant two-hand push on James when James was driving to the hoop. And let's not forget Gilbert Arenas and Deshawn Stevenson's trash talking before the series. Well, in any case, James is a monster and he's eating up Wizards. The Cavs go win number nine in a row against the Wiz in Game Three. Cavaliers lead series 2-0.
