2008 NBA Playoffs - Day Nine - April 27
Here at About.com, we'll be following each day of the 2008 NBA Playoffs - nothing too in-depth with these posts, but a bit of a recap that gives a couple of brief sentences or so, the final results, as well as links to the boxscore.

San Antonio Spurs 86, Phoenix Suns 105 @ Phoenix / Box Score
Don't bring out the brooms just yet as there is still a sliver of sunshine coming through. Thanks to Raja Bell's 27 points and Boris Diaw's near triple-double (20 points/10 rebounds/8 assists), the Suns were compensated for Amare Stoudemire's lackluster scoring performance (seven points) and blew out the Spurs to fight another day. However, it'll be a tough order as they now go back to San Antonio, where the Spurs can actually close out the series. Spurs leads series 3-1.
Cleveland Cavaliers 100, Washington Wizards 97 @ Washington / Box Score
The Cavaliers went to the nation's capital and split their two-game set there with the Wizards and now have a chance to close out the series at home. The "overrated" LeBron James did his best to prove Deshawn Stevenson wrong and did by only being three assists away from a triple-double. And it's pretty obvious that Gilbert Arenas just isn't himself he his shooting has been off. If he was healthy, maybe this is a different series, but that's neither here nor there as Arenas probably isn't. Oh, and you know who isn't overrated? Delonte West. Yes, that would be the Delonte West that hit the game-winning three-pointer with 5.4 seconds left to win the game. Game Five goes down on Wednesday. Cavaliers lead series 3-1.
Detroit Pistons 93, Philadelphia 76ers 84 @ Philadelphia / Box Score
There was a real possibility during the first half of this game that the Pistons would be heading back home down three games to one. However, after being down ten points at halftime, the Pistons came out of the break like gangbusters outscorign the Sixers 34-16 and ending up with the win. I can feel the momentum shifting. Series tied 2-2.
New Orleans Hornets 97, Dallas Mavericks 84 @ Dallas / Box Score
Just like Chris Paul made Jason Kidd look all series, this is pretty much done.
