2008 NBA Playoffs - Day Twenty-Three - May 11
Here at About.com, we'll be following each day of the 2008 NBA Playoffs - nothing too in-depth with these posts, but a bit of a recap that gives a couple of brief sentences or so, the final results, as well as links to the boxscore.

New Orleans Hornets 80, San Antonio Spurs 100 @ San Antonio / Box Score
The Spurs made a loud statement about the premature assumption of their fall from postseason greatness. The Spurs Big Three of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili shot a combined 23-for-38 from the field and limited Chris Paul's partner-in-crime, David West, to only 10 points. Other than Paul and his 23 points, Jannero Pargo was the only other Hornet to score in doube-digits. Series tied 2-2.
Los Angeles Lakers 115, Utah Jazz 123 (Overtime) @ Utah / Box Score
The Jazz let a 12-point lead evaporate in the last four minutes of regulation and the game went into overtime. However, in overtime, the Jazz went 9-for-9 from the charity stripe while the Lakers only hit two field goals, getting outscored 15-7 by the Jazz. The Lakers' Kobe Bryant suffered a back injury, but is expected to turn the tide back towards' the Lakers who lost their only two games in the postseason thus far to the Jazz in Utah. Series tied 2-2.
