Need to know whose fantasy basketball stock is moving up and moving down? The Fantasy Ballers Market is the place to check the values of the top 50 NBA players on the fantasy tip.
Howdy, folks, this will be the first of a few preseason FBMs, so you can get your fantasy basketball fix on. In this first edition, I'll take a look at the Top 50 fantasy ballers in the NBA, which I will do each week when the season starts up. So, take a gander at the list and feel free to leave your comments in the forums about it! Maybe I'll even put your words in the next edition of FBM.
Rank/Player/Team/Stock/Comment
1. Kobe Bryant, SG, Los AngelesLakers
EVEN; Kobe does EVERYTHING for the Lakers, which is not so good in "real" basketball, but excellent in fantasy!
2. Kevin Garnett, SF/PF, Boston Celtics
EVEN; Don't expect the numbers to change much with the Celtics except a nominal drop in points.
3. LeBron James, SF, Cleveland Cavaliers
EVEN; If only he shot better percentage-wise, there would be no denying LBJ the top spot.
4. Shawn Marion, SF/PF, Phoenix Suns
UP; The trade winds came and gone for the Matrix who is the most underrated fantasy baller.
5. Gilbert Arenas, PG, Washington Wizards
UP; Agent Zero is prolific in several categories and he seems on track to come back strong after injury.
6. Dirk Nowitzki, PF, Dallas Mavericks
EVEN; There isn't a better big man that can shoot from three and give you great percentages. Don't you long for the days when Dirk was C-eligible?
7. Steve Nash, PG, Phoenix Suns
EVEN; Nashty fell off in threes and steals, but his domination in dime dropping and shooting the ball are excellent.
8. Yao Ming, C, Houston Rockets
UP; If Yao stays healthy, and he didn't suffer a freak injury last year, he will be one of the top fantasy ballers when all is said and done, especially when you consider the position Yao plays.
9. Dwyane Wade, PG/SG, Miami Heat
EVEN; All Wade needs is to do is shoot the trey on the regular and his game would be complete.
10. Chris Paul, PG, New Orleans Hornets
UP; Paul is scoring more and has the potential for 18 PPG and 10 APG, which is Nash-like.
