Karl Malone, arguably the greatest power forward the NBA has ever seen, represented the United States in both the 1992 and 1996 Olympic games. Along with a handful of American NBA legends, Malone helped make up the famed '92 Dream Team that saw professional players play on team USA for the first time in Olympic history. The team steamrolled its way through the field of international competition en route to its first of three extremely overwhelming Olympic golds.

Throughout his career as an NBA pro, mostly with the Utah Jazz, Malone scored just under 37,000 points, good enough for second place on the all-time scoring list. In 1996, Malone was named one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players before even taking home MVP honors (which he did in 1997 and 1999). Currently the "Mailman" can be found at Louisiana Tech University where he operates as director of basketball promotion as well the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
