Though she wasnt a member of the 1992 Barcelona, Spain Dream Team, Lisa Leslie has something many athletes will never achieve: three Olympic gold medals. Leslie was a member of the winning teams in 1996 (Atlanta), 2000 (Sydney) and 2004 (Athens) and is one of the few members of the inaugural WNBA season that is still in the league.
Not only was Leslie the first WNBA player to ever eclipse the 3,000-point mark, she scored her 5,000th point in 2006. She is the first player to ever garner the regular season, WNBA Championship, and All-Star Game MVP in the same season. And if all of these accolades are not selling points, Leslie was the first player to ever dunk the basketball in a WNBA contest.
After missing the 2007 season while on maternity leave, Leslie returned to the Los Angeles Sparks in 2008 where she is currently one of the leagues most popular players.
