Strengths
Bayless has a plethora of physical skills possessing outstanding athleticism, quickness, and explosion. Offensively, he can do it all on the court. He has a great first step and slashes well to the basket, as well as being able to finish on the break.
Bayless has great mechanics on his outside shot and is able to get his shot off from screens, catch and shoot situations, or pulling up on a dime. He has a nice mid-range game and is able to get to the line and convert at an excellent rate.
Bayless has good ball-handling skills and plays with confidence. Defensively, he still has things to learn, but it's obvious that he tries relentlessly.
Weaknesses
Bayless is what is called a "tweener." He doesn't have the height to play at the shooting guard at the next level, but he is more of a scorer than a playmaker. He'll need to work more on his point guard skills in order to cement his place in the NBA.
