Fernandez is an excellent athlete and possesses above average leaping ability. He slashes very well to the basket and releases his shot quickly. Fernandez has a non-stop motor on the offensive side working to get open. He can hit from three-point land.
Negatives:Fernandez is a bit thin and could stand to add some more muscle weight. Defensively, he's not as passionate as he is on offense and he will need to ramp it up in the NBA if he plans to stay on the floor. Fernandez can settle for shooting bombs instead of driving to the hoop and his mid-range is lagging because of that.
