International Team: TAU Vitoria (Brazil)

Height: 7'0"

Positives:
Splitter is extremely mobile, fluid, and athletic. He is able to run the floor and finish on breaks easily as well take his man down low in half-court sets. If he steps on the fringes of the top box, Splitter is able to take his man off the dribble, getting by his defender and taking it to the rack. Defensively, Splitter's speed, footwork, lateral movement, and long arms makes him a threat. He has a lot of international experience and has played against tough teams.
Negatives:There are questions about his toughness, both physically and mentally. Splitter hasn't been the most durable player and doesn't have a scorer's mentality as he will defer to his less talented teammates. He'll need to build his strength in order to be effective down low against tougher NBA players.
Overview:Splitter could be an exciting player to watch and has been one of the top international NBA prospects for a few years now. However, there are questions on whether the reality will meet the hype. Splitter could be a high risk/high reward type of player. Do you get a rookie Darko Milicic or an athletic and slashing Dirk Nowitzki that needs a few seasons in the league before breaking out?
