The 2008 NBA All-Star Skills Challenge takes place on Saturday, February 16th at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA. The following players will be competing to see who has "skeelz":
- Dwyane Wade - Miami Heat
- Jason Kidd - New Jersey Nets
- Chris Paul - New Orleans Hornets
- Deron Williams - Utah Jazz
Wade looks to get his third title in a row, but will have some tough competition, especially when you consider that Kidd is a former champion, winning the first ever competition in 2003. But, Kidd isn't the only one to worry about as Paul, a serious MVP candidate at this point in the season, has been moving up towards the upper echelon of point guards in the league thanks to his precise passing, which hss him around the top of the assists category. Williams, whose evolution as a point guard in the NBA the past season and a half is noticeable is another serious threat. It looks like this competition is going to be one to definitely watch.
