Background:

Anthony developed his skills at prep powerhouse, Oak Hill Academy and entered Syracuse University with a strong pedigree. However, no one expected Anthony, a freshman, to lead Syracuse to the 2003 NCAA Chamionship. Anthony left on top after one successful season, declaring early after his freshman year for the 2003 NBA Draft.

His Career Thus Far:

Anthony has been successful while playing in the league, leading the Nuggets in scoring each season, as well as into the playoffs. Unfortunately, the Nuggets have never gone past the first round whenever they get in every season Anthony has been there.

Anthony is mostly considered third in the pecking order after LeBron James and Dwyane Wade as the top three players from the 2003 NBA Draft. James is arguably the best, skills-wise, amongst the three, while Wade is the only one with a championship ring. In the past, there were off-the-court problems with Anthony, but during the 2005-06, he showed a focus never seen before in his NBA career, such as slimming down, getting more muscular and quick.

Of course, for all of the improvements Anthony makes, if he continues to act like this, all of the work will be for naught.
