Aldridge left the University of Texas early and became the second pick overall by the Blazers. Leaving early has paid off and for both Aldridge and the organzation as he is fast becoming one of the better scorers in the box down low in the entire league. He is part of a talented nucleus of Blazers players along with Brandon Roy.
