Lewis went the prep-to-pros route, but was not considered as big of a prospect as some other high schoolers that declared for the draft in recent years at the time, such as Kobe Bryant and Jermaine O'Neal. Regardless, Lewis has become one of the league's better sharpshooters from the perimeter and hopes to continue his success with the Orlando Magic starting with the 2007-08 season.
