Marion first played his college ball in junior college (Vincennes University in Indiana) for two years before moving up to Division I UNLV. At Vincennes, he won several awards including the MVP of All-Star games, All-America teams, and regional player of the year awards. He only played one season with UNLV, but made a very impressionable mark upon opposing players, coaches, and NBA scouts.
Marion participates in numerous charities and has a twin sister named Shawnett. He wears number 31 in honor of former Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller.
His Career Thus Far:
Marion is the type of player that always gets overlooked by people because he doesn't necessarily do one thing great. However, The Matrix does everything well, a fact not lost on experienced fantasy basketball enthusiasts. He has the ability to score 18-20 points per game, as well as grab double digit rebounds, hit treys, shoot very good percentages, and more notably, block and steal the ball. There aren't many players that can bring the versatility that Marion does.
