Background:
McGrady was a USA Today High School Player of the Year his senior season and chose to jump straight to the pros. Hoops skills must run in the family as T-Mac and Vince Carter of the New Jersey Nets are cousins. McGrady is known for his generosity and charity work, especially through his Tracy McGrady Foundation organization.
His Career Thus Far:
McGrady took some time to make his impact on the league thanks to a slow go of it in Toronto. However, once he received some consistent playing time, it was on. Once he signed with the Magic, McGrady became an unstoppable force, routinely carrying the team on his back from game-to-game.
Dominating the league during his years with the Magic, things didn't change when he was traded to the Rockets along with Juwan Howard, Reece Gaines, and Tyronn Lue for Steve Francis, Kelvin Cato, and Cuttino Mobley. Now teamed up with Yao Ming, McGrady hopes to do something he as of yet done and that's make it past the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
