Brendan Sullivan writes about the Boston Celtics and the rest of the Atlantic Division for About.com's Basketball site.
As a child, Sullivan approached Kevin McHale during pregame with a large smile and said "Hi Mr. McHale." McHale responded not with words but with a look so scornful that it nearly turned the impressionable youth to stone. Undeterred, he remained faithful to the Celtics, witnessing first hand Dino Radja's last games at the Boston Garden.
Since then he has watched countless hours of Celtics and NBA basketball, and gives Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn partial credit for raising him. He now lives in Brooklyn, NY.
