About Basketball Contributor Bio - Eno Sarris

Eno Sarris

By Dennis Velasco, About.com

Growing up, Eno lived in locales as diverse as the beaches of Jamaica, the rain-sodden streets of Hamburg, Germany, the rustic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the strip malls of central Florida, and the lush redwood forests of California. This allows him to claim half the teams in America as his own, which he does regularly. Somewhere among the cards of such luminaries as Spud Webb, Dominique Wilkins, Will Clark, and Dale Murphy is where Eno found his mental home during his many travels. He suffers pangs of inner turmoil when two of his many teams play each other, so avoid him when the Giants are playing the Braves, or when the Hawks take on the Celtics.

Experience:

After the lights go down on his day job as lead editor for a children's educational publisher, Eno picks up his pen as a lead contributor for FantasyLoungeSports.com and SportsForm Publications. Fantasy Baseball was his first love, but he also enjoys doling out both both hardball and hardwood counsel through his persona as the Roster Doctor.

Education:

His Masters in Communications and Media Studies instilled within Eno a healthy suspicion of the media, but his love of writing could not even be dulled by the Math-and-Science atmosphere at Stanford University. No, Eno found great writers like Tobias Wolff and soaked up what he could while he could. Oh, and he was a five-year Sixth Man during one of the greatest runs in Cardinal Basketball history. While being a regular at the basketball games with his afro and obnoxious chants, he developed a healthy admiration of Josh Childress and an unhealthy hatred of Richard Jefferson.
